ELEMARA: the first car a child drives without you

You cannot test drive any of this before it arrives, so every machine on the site carries the four numbers that actually decide it, volts, top speed, rider weight limit and how long the pack takes to charge, and the colourway you click is the colourway photographed.

03What it is made of

Steel frames, EVA tyres and a battery you can replace

Everything that carries a child here rests on three things: a frame that does not flex, a tyre that does not mark a floor, and a sealed lead-acid pack that comes out with four bolts when it stops holding a charge.

An ELEMARA licensed G63 body, photographed on white

Frame first

The two-seat quads run an iron frame rather than a moulded shell with a bar through it. You feel the difference the first time two children get on at once and nothing creaks.

EVA over plastic

Moulded EVA tyres grip a wet driveway, absorb the edge of a paving slab and leave no black line on a garage floor. Hard plastic wheels do none of those three.

A pack you can change

Sealed lead-acid, 7 to 10 amp-hours, on a standard connector. Three years in, the machine is fine and the battery is tired, and only one of those needs replacing.

Belt, then throttle

A seat belt on every seat, a soft-start controller so the first press does not jerk, and a low-battery voice prompt before the machine stops halfway down the garden.

06Sixteen years of the same problem

What ELEMARA has been solving since 2010

A child wants to drive. An adult wants to be able to stop them. Almost everything we have built since 2010 sits somewhere on the line between those two sentences.

The first thing we got right was the remote. A twelve-volt car with a parent remote is not a toy with a gadget bolted on: it is a machine a three-year-old can be trusted with on a real driveway, because the person watching can cut the power mid-roll without running. Twelve machines in the ELEMARA lineup carry one. The moment a child stops needing it, usually somewhere around six and always sooner than a parent expects, the catalogue hands them a kart with a stepless throttle and no override at all, and that is a deliberate step rather than a gap in the range.

The second thing took longer. Grass eats batteries. A single 80-watt motor that feels quick on concrete stalls on a wet lawn with a slope in it, so the bigger machines here run two 400-watt motors, four-wheel drive and a nine or ten amp-hour pack instead of the seven that fits a first car. That is also why a charge takes eight to twelve hours: a bigger pack does not fill faster, and a machine that arrives on a Saturday morning is ready on Saturday evening, not before lunch.

What we have not done is spread. Sixteen years in and everyone at ELEMARA still works to eight shelves: cars, quads, bikes, karts, first rides, wagons, water slides and the small nursery shelf that came out of the same request from the same parents. Every one of them is something a family takes outside.

What the age on the box really means

Age ranges are our guide to who fits and who can steer. A tall four-year-old and a small seven-year-old are the same problem in opposite directions, and the seat width and the weight limit answer it better than a birthday does.

08The part that is not ours to certify

Powered ride-ons, inflatables and infant sleep: who writes the rule

Three of our shelves answer to published federal standards rather than to anything we could put on a box. Those standards are linked here rather than paraphrased into a promise.

A ride-on is a toy in law

ASTM F963 is mandatory for children’s toys under 16 CFR part 1250, and a toy counterpart of a powered land vehicle sits inside its scope. Products intended primarily for children twelve and under are third-party tested and covered by a Children’s Product Certificate.

US Consumer Product Safety Commission, read September 1, 2026

A backyard slide is not a toy in law

Constant air inflatables fall outside that definition. They are built instead to the ASTM home-use standard for air inflatable play devices, revised in 2018 to tighten anchoring and staking: a different rule from the one commercial rides answer to.

US Consumer Product Safety Commission, read September 1, 2026

Wind decides the afternoon

The regulator puts the working ceiling at 15 to 25 miles an hour and offers a field test that needs no instrument: if the tops of the trees are swaying, take the afternoon indoors. More than 18,000 bounce-house injuries reached US emergency departments in 2018.

US Consumer Product Safety Commission, read September 1, 2026

Ten degrees, and a label that lasts

Bassinets answer to 16 CFR part 1218, which fixes the head-to-toe sleep surface at no more than ten degrees from horizontal at rest and requires a permanent label carrying the model and the date of manufacture. That label is how a recall reaches you.

US Consumer Product Safety Commission, read September 1, 2026

This section is general information about powered ride-ons, home inflatables and infant sleep products, not advice about a particular child or a particular medical question. Speeds and weight limits describe level ground with a full battery. If you have a specific concern, a child with a balance or seizure condition, a question about safe sleep, a helmet decision, take it to a healthcare professional or a public safety authority rather than to a catalogue.

10The brand, in five hundred words

Which ELEMARA machine is the one for your child

Eight shelves, one decision, and it is almost never the one people arrive intending to make.

Parents come to this catalogue with a price in mind and leave having changed their mind about the category. That is not a sales trick; it is what happens when you replace the question "what can I afford" with the question "what will my child be able to do with it in April". A twelve-volt car at $129.99 and a twenty-four-volt quad at $305.99 are not the same machine at two prices. One is a driveway at walking pace with an adult holding a remote. The other is a lawn, a slope, two riders and no override.

The first fork is the surface. Walk out of your own front door and look at what is there. Concrete, tarmac or a paved patio means twelve volts is enough: 1.9 to 3.5 miles an hour, one rider up to 66 pounds, a parent remote, and change left over. Grass, gravel or anything with a rise in it means the second motor and the bigger pack are not a luxury: a single-motor car on a wet lawn stalls, and a child who has to be pushed out of a rut twice stops asking for it.

The largest ELEMARA water park, inflated, with children on it
An ELEMARA twelve-volt two-seat ride-on quad

The second fork is the override. Twelve of the machines here carry a 2.4 GHz parent remote that beats the pedal at any moment, and every one of them is a machine a three-year-old can use on a real driveway because of it. The moment a child stops needing that, the catalogue changes shape: the drift kart has a stepless throttle and no remote, the dirt bikes run to fifteen miles an hour with a twist grip and no remote either, and that is a step you take on purpose rather than a gap somebody forgot to fill.

Everything else follows from those two. Two seats means a combined weight limit rather than one per child, so measure the pair and not the eldest. A wagon is decided by the height of your boot opening before it is decided by the seat count. A water slide is decided by the rectangle of level lawn behind your house, plus about three feet of clearance on every side, and by wind, the published ceiling is 15 to 25 miles an hour, with a field test anyone can run: if the tops of the trees are swaying, the afternoon is indoors.

The table below is the whole of it. Find the row that matches the child in front of you rather than the row that matches the budget, and the shelf is chosen.

11Straight to a line

The ELEMARA lines people search for by name

Five of them get a paragraph here; the rest are one click away, and every one of those pages carries the whole line with its prices, colourways and sizes.

ELEMARA Ride-On Cars

The twelve-volt off-road truck is the machine most families start with: 3.5 miles an hour, a 66-pound rider limit, spring suspension, and a parent remote that overrides the pedal from across a driveway. Five colourways, and the most reviewed thing we make.

ELEMARA Mercedes-Benz Ride-Ons

Licensed AMG G63 and G-Class G500 bodies, which is the only shelf where a four-year-old recognises the car in the photograph. Twelve volts for one rider at 1.9 mph, twenty-four for two at 4.5 with four-wheel drive, in seven colourways including two whites.

ELEMARA 2-Seater Ride-Ons

Twenty-four volts, four-wheel drive and a twenty-inch bench: the machines two children ride together. Ten amp-hours behind the seat, 4.5 to 5 miles an hour, and a remote that still overrides everything from the far side of a garden.

ELEMARA Ride-On ATVs

Two-seat quads with knobbly tyres and, on the top machine, an iron frame rather than a moulded shell with a bar through it. Twelve volts at four miles an hour up to twenty-four with 400-watt motors and four-wheel drive at five.

ELEMARA Electric Dirt Bikes

Fifteen miles an hour on two wheels, chain-driven, with a twist-grip throttle and a power display on the bars. A 150-pound limit, three speed settings, and deliberately no parent remote: at this speed the person who stops the bike is the person riding it.

ELEMARA Bumper Cars

Twelve volts, under two and a half miles an hour, and a bumper ring that spins the car through a full circle on the spot. The one shelf built to be used indoors as readily as out, with a remote so a two-year-old can ride before they can steer.

ELEMARA Stroller Wagons

Two-seat wagons that push or pull on the same handle, take 110 pounds of children and shopping, and fold to a slab one adult can lift. Canopy and mosquito net on all three, and the most reviewed thing on the site after the ride-on truck.

ELEMARA Inflatable Water Slides

Nine to fifteen things in one unit, two slides, climbing walls, water guns, a ball pit and a pool, with the blower in the box. Footprints up to 20.66 by 16.4 feet, which wants a clear rectangle closer to 27 by 23 once you allow for the run-off.

12Before you click

Six measurements that settle it

The commonest is a four-seat wagon that will not go in the boot folded. Take these six measurements once and the ELEMARA catalogue turns into a filter.

Weigh the child, then add the friend

On a two-seater the limit is combined. Two forty-pound children clear a 130-pound machine easily; a nine-year-old and a parent do not.

Measure the seat, not the age

Seat width and the distance from the back of the seat to the pedal decide whether a child fits. A tall four-year-old outgrows a first car before the box says so.

Walk the surface first

Concrete, grass or gravel. Twelve volts is for the first of those; the four-wheel-drive machines are for the other two, and nothing crosses a wet slope well.

Find the socket

A pack charges for eight to twelve hours, so the machine has to sit somewhere with power. A garage with no socket turns every charge into an extension lead across a path.

Measure your boot

For a wagon, the folded height matters more than the seat count. A four-seater that will not go in the car goes nowhere.

Pace out the lawn

A water slide needs its footprint plus about three clear feet on every side, away from branches, fences and power lines, on ground level enough for the pool to fill evenly.

13In their words

Six people on what turned up in the driveway

Printed as they came, with the machine each one names linked underneath. Two of them are complaints, and those are the two worth reading twice.

My son absolutely lost his mind when I gave this motorbike to him. It has real "wow" factor. It drives very smoothly and goes fast enough to be thrilling, but not so fast to make me feel that my kiddo is in danger. It handles grassy hills and asphalt perfectly. I am a 43-year-old woman and I was able to assemble it in about an hour. I just wanted to let folks know that although the description states it is for 13 and up, based on its size, that is completely ludicrous. My son just turned 9 and the bike already looks a bit too small for him.

We love this bounce house. Our kids were getting older and outgrowing our old one. This one is the perfect size for at least kids 2-10. It is strong and durable enough to hold the bigger kids and still feasible for the younger kids to climb and have fun. Heck, even some adults tried it out and it held them up. The only thing I wish is that there was a drain plug for the pool section.

After it is put together, it is pretty nice. I am sure as a playpen and bassinet it will work out okay. However, the photos make it look like the baby is level with the bed when set up as a bassinet. They must have an extremely low bed in the photo, because we have a regular height bed and the baby will be about 8 inches lower than the top of the mattress. We would not have bought this if we knew that. The instructions are also ridiculous, with tiny drawings and very small print.

Love the rugged look of this jeep. A nice feature is the parent remote — kids can steer on their own but parents can also take control. Comes in handy when kids are just learning how to manoeuvre or get stuck often. Kids can even use it like an oversized RC car, which adds a lot of fun.

15Questions people send us

What buyers ask before they order

Six of them, answered here in a paragraph each. Longer answers live on the shelf pages and in the Garage.

Where can you buy an ELEMARA ride-on?

Every buying button on this site opens the machine you were looking at, in stock, at our retail partner. That is where the payment, the delivery and any return happen, and the price you see there is the price you pay.

If you would rather browse the whole range in one go, the button at the foot of every page opens the catalogue rather than a single machine.

Is a 12V or a 24V ELEMARA right for your child?

Twelve volts runs between 1.9 and 3.5 miles an hour and carries a rider up to about 66 pounds, which is a three- to six-year-old on a flat driveway. Twenty-four volts runs 4 to 5 on four wheels, carries up to 150 pounds, and has the torque to pull two children up a grass slope. If the surface at your house is concrete, twelve volts is enough; if it is lawn, it is not.

How long does an ELEMARA battery take to charge, and how long does it last?

From flat, eight to twelve hours on the charger in the box: plan the first ride for the evening rather than the morning. A full pack gives roughly forty to ninety minutes of driving, and where you land in that range is decided by the surface and the rider rather than by the machine. A lawn with a rise in it will empty a pack long before a top speed setting does.

Does your ELEMARA come with a parent remote?

Twelve of the machines in the range do, on 2.4 GHz, and the remote overrides the pedal at any moment. It is the reason a three-year-old can be trusted on a real driveway. The dirt bikes and the drift karts deliberately have none: at fifteen miles an hour on two wheels the person who stops the machine has to be the person riding it.

How much lawn does an ELEMARA water slide need?

Its printed footprint plus about three clear feet on every side, on ground level enough for the pool to fill evenly, and away from tree branches, fences and power lines. The largest park here is 20.66 by 16.4 feet, so it wants a clear rectangle closer to 27 by 23. Wind decides the rest: the regulator puts the ceiling at 15 to 25 miles an hour.

What can you assemble yourself, and how long does it take?

All of it, with the tools in the box. Buyers put the twelve-volt cars together in thirty to forty minutes and the bigger bikes and quads in about an hour; the wagons and the inflatables need no assembly at all beyond unfolding and, on a slide, staking it down.

Every ELEMARA voltage, every colourway
