ELEMARA kart

A bumper car is the only machine we make that is meant to be used indoors as readily as out. The wheels turn against each other, so it spins in its own length on a smooth floor, and the parent remote overrides everything, which is what makes it the machine most often bought for a child too young to be trusted with a steering wheel outdoors. A drift kart is the opposite decision: a low seat, rear castors that let the back end come round on purpose, and a throttle with no steps in it, for a six-to-fourteen-year-old on a flat empty surface.

What people want settled before they buy a kart.

Will an ELEMARA bumper car work on your floor indoors?

On any hard smooth floor, yes, and that is what it is built for. The wheels turn against each other so the car spins in its own length, the top speed is under two and a half miles an hour, and the bumper ring is there to protect your skirting board as much as the child. On carpet it will move, but the spin loses its edge.

What age is an ELEMARA drift kart for?

Six to fourteen, and the seat adjusts through that range. The rear castors let the back end come round on purpose, which is the whole point, and it wants a flat empty surface: an empty car park or a long driveway rather than a garden with a step in it.

Do ELEMARA bumper cars need a remote?

They come with one, and it is the reason a two-year-old can be put in a bumper car at all. The adult steers and drives from across the room while the child holds a wheel that does nothing, and then, some months later, it starts doing something.
