The motor delivers its power gradually from a stop, and the LED lights are bright enough for a late afternoon ride as the sun begins to set.

This is a machine for a rider who is ready to steer and brake without a remote override. The trade-off is in the charging cycle: a full battery provides a solid run, but it requires a long plug-in time to recharge from empty. You will want to plan rides around the state of the pack.
